Does StoryScale replace planning poker?
No. StoryScale focuses on comparative estimation and shared ranking. Teams can still use other facilitation methods when appropriate.
Does StoryScale use AI?
The Core version uses rule-based readiness checks and comparative estimation logic. It does not call external AI services.
Can StoryScale estimate without historical data?
Yes. When historical anchors are insufficient, StoryScale uses guided calibration so the team can define Story Point thresholds after ranking.
Can users edit final estimates?
Yes. The final board remains reviewable and adjustable before publishing.
What does StoryScale modify in Jira?
Only the resolved Story Points field, and only after the user explicitly confirms publish.
